I have come across more and more people, groups and organizations who are committed to helping homeless people. Many of these groups are activists, committed to confronting the inhumanity of our culture, a culture that values fancy cars and new technology more than human beings. This is not a deliberate or a callous disregard of others, it is simply a result of the consumer conditioning we have been immersed in since childhood.
Some amazing people are at work and raising a cry that will not be silenced. I am adding my voice to this choir of compassion and hope that you will too.
