Memorial Service
I performed two of my original songs at a Memorial Service on Friday, July 24 at the Veteran’s Memorial Hall, 112 W. Cabrillo Blvd in Santa Barbara. More than 300 people attended the service to honor the 17 homeless people who died on the streets in Santa Barbara this year, many of them under suspicous circumstances.
San Francisco Homeless Connect Day
On October 28, we will be participating in the annual Homeless Connect Day in San Francisco. The event is sponsored by Project Homeless Connect and will take place at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium from 10AM – 3PM. At the event, we will holding an art workshop, talking with people and connecting with shelters, laying the ground work for our fall tour.
Art Workshops At Local Shelters
We talking with shelters in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties about holding art workshops at their facilities. We really had a wonderful time doing this in the past and everyone wants us to return. We are looking at the November- December time frame to hold these events. Stay tuned!
