We are heading out to San Francisco to participate in the annual Homeless Connect Day on October 28 at Bill Graham Auditorium. More than 1,500 homeless people are expected to participate. We will be holding an art workshop for as many people as we can accommodate. We have a great team in place for this event and the excitement is almost out of control!
We will be leaving from our base in Ojai in our RV on the morning of October 27. Our “camping spot” will be right on the street next to the auditorium. People begin lining up at 6AM, so we will be pretty busy.
We are also planning to connect with some shelters while we are there and perhaps visit a couple before we leave. Some media coverage is expected as well.
Project Homeless Connect created this event and is managing it in conjuction with the City of San Francisco. We are very happy to have been invited. Stay tuned for updates!
