World Homeless Day Tour 2010
Wow! Homeless service organizations are signing up quickly for the tour. We have a total of nine confirmed so far in Seattle, Portland and Medford, Oregon and in Sacramento and San Francisco, California.
We are also working on a launch event in the LA area in conjunction with other organizations. We are getting closer to our fund raising goal too. Please keep those contributions coming.
We are looking for volunteers on the tour to help with the art workshops and filming. If you or someone you know would be interested in empowering people, please email me at heartsoffire@ureach.com.
How You Can Help
There are many ways you can contribute, some of which cost you nothing. Pick the ones that works best for you:
Free, No Cost Donations
- Yahoo search tool, pays us for each search you do. If enough people use this, it could totally fund the tour.
- Enter “Hearts Of Fire Project” when you sign up at eScrip. Participating merchants like Von’s and Safeway pay us for your normal purchases.
Donate Cash
- Here on our web site
- Purchase art work at our on line gallery
- Purchase merchandise at our on line store.
Donate Goods
- Donate your old vehicles here. Our service provider will contact you directly and arrange to pick up your car, truck, RV or boat at no cost to you.
- Sell items on eBay and donate some or all of your proceeds to us. When you list an item on eBay, select the Hearts Of Fire Project from the charity drop-down menu.
